Pizarro´s Necklace.

This is an oval necklace locker 7.5 diameter at the longest axis, 4.5 diameter at the shortest one.

Its surface is dull colored and obviously metallic to touch. Initial appreciations indicate that the material is Lead. Its weight however continues to being puzzling, as it weights 3.3(periodical) kilograms. This weight is consistent across multiple weighting machines. And inconsistent for any known substance mass. Radiation testing is pending.

I was successful buying it off an addict on the central block of the city. I continue without knowing who placed the hint. My contacts have yet to update me on the tracing from the originator message. They said it is a though one. The phone trail leads back to a perfectly nondescript taxi driver cellphone. He got mugged 9 hours before the message was sent to me.

At the moment he continues to be unconscious and hospitalized. The cellphone was not with him. The investigation lies now on getting to know that particular location underground community.

Animals and kids seem to be enthralled by the necklace. Kids will play with it, animals will sustain visual contact with it for long periods of time.

So far it has been impossible to open, or destroy it. I already damaged an oak door, dulled a few screwdrivers and splintered a finger bone in the process. Yesterday evening I ran into a road repair crew, I bribed one of them and got him to try to crush it under a man portable hydraulic press. The necklace got incrusted into the pavement.

The damage was minimal, whats worrisome is that It happened on the locking mechanism. I hope for it not to be damaged.

The message said "retrieve Pizarro´s necklace for me. operational money has been sent" No identifier for the patron. There was a deposit for 10 grand on my account. And a notated map.

I researched the subject. So far I have been unable to find any paper trace or reference to the necklace. Pizarro seems to be a pretty common name, origins traceable back to Spain. The object does not seem to have organic parts for carbon dating.

At the moment the locket remains closed, so the interior cannot be observed, the exterior is irregular, like a lead coated nut. The bends on the surface seem random.
